About Managed Services

Centrex IT offers a suite of software, hardware and professional services that provide a turnkey solution for deploying and managing Internet applications in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment. We provide hosting, performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, preventive maintenance, tuning, improvement and upgrade.  The platform ensures that all normal support services are provided with no single point of failure. The features present in this platform are as follows:

  • Resilient bandwidth, the platform’s bandwidth provision is from multiple Tier 1 ISP’s.
  • Resilient connection, the connection between the platform and the ISP uses multiple 100Mbps connections. These connections will automatically failover in the event of a failure of the primary supply.
  • Redundant power - there are two diverse power suppliers to the hosting environment. At the same time all the servers on the hosted platform use multiple power supplies, using both independent power feeds.
  • All disk subsystems on the platform use RAID technology to ensure that the systems can withstand mechanical failure of disks in the sub system without loss of data or services.
  • Provision of full environmental control, and maintenance of the platform at a uniform temperature and humidity.

The security platform also provides for full system monitoring so that any faults that develop can be attended to and rectified before they cause the platform to fail or cause any loss of service.  The Centrex hosting schematic is included as Appendix (i)
