Using the Ascent Technologies platform Centrex Contact Centre Solutions has been able to develop an integrated suite of facilities for inbound and outbound call centre operations over an internet based service. This has been identified as a cost effective way to develop new and extended services without major, upfront, investment.
This unique service combines Ascent's expertise as a leading European author of Customer Relationship Management and Customer Interaction software to deliver a solution that can be securely and reliably hosted and used in conjunction with the new generation of telephony equipment.
All of the components have been pre-integrated and use modern open standards including the Internet, XML, Voice XML and the Microsoft .net framework. This ensures that Centrex's clients can access and manage the service securely whilst enabling the system to interact live with the relevant callers, agents and databases as needed.
